09 Aug THE WHITE STRIPES XX album gets exclusive 20th anniversary box set
The White Stripes are set to release a 20th-anniversary box set to celebrate their debut album, THE WHITE STRIPES XX.
The boxset features an unheard soundboard recording of Jack and Meg on their first-ever tour. “Live at the Ritz – Raliegh, NC – 09/26/99” is pressed on fire-engine red vinyl. Also included pressed on white vinyl are alternate takes and previously unreleased tracks from the White Stripes self-titled debut album that has been mixed by Jack White at Third Man Studio.
The 20th-anniversary box set is only available to purchase through Third Man’s Vault subscription service. It will also include a DVD of two shows from that same 1999 tour and an archival booklet that collects photos, flyers, lyrics, and ephemera from the band’s history.
