Traveling in the footsteps of a previous indie darling record with the massively ambitious first pressing of Fiona Apple’s 1996 album TIDAL for the May Album of The Month, the folks at Vinyl, Me Please have followed it up with a 10th anniversary vinyl reissue of one of modern indie-rock’s essential records, The National’s critically acclaimed Boxer.

To receive the record, all you have to do is sign up for their vinyl subscription service by August 15 to be entitled to:

Boxer Vinyl Reissue (10th Anniversary Edition)  – The National

  • Special Edition Grey Vinyl
  • Bonus 7” w/ tracks from Sleep Well Beast
  • 12×12 Art Print by Philip Johnson

Boxer reintroduced The National as a potent indie-rock force to be reckoned with in 2007, with Matt Behringer’s commanding and sullenly evocative voice ruminating over a collection of progressively intense rock instrumentation.

The winning formula was both a soothing earworm and a technical delight, summoning up winning titles that would grow to be essential The National tracks with Fake Empire & Mistaken For Strangers.
