27 Aug The Mandalorian score gets massive vinyl boxset treatment
The first season of The Mandalorian is getting a one-time release on vinyl.
Ludwig Göransson‘s score for the first season of the Disney+ series will be released as an 8xLP box set, limited to 3,500 units. The Mondo-issued set features original artwork by Paul Mann, unique to each episode in the series.
The limited-edition Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season One box set features music from all eight episodes, pressed on 180-gram black vinyl.
Each record comes in a sleeve with Paul Mann artwork, housed in a heavy-duty slipcase with a Beskar steel design adorned with Mando’s mudhorn Signet.

“[Göransson’s] score for The Mandalorian is similarly masterful in its ability to be wildly experimental while never feeling out of place,” Mondo says in a statement, “like a synth spaghetti western score that feels inspired in equal parts to Ennio Morricone, John Williams. and Hans Zimmer, while also never feeling like a pastiche. We are honored to be the home for this complete score.”
Pre-orders have now launched on Mondo’s official website, with each set costing US$200. Shipping is slated for November this year.
