Skepta channels garage in new music video ‘Love Me Not’

Skepta has shared the full all-star video for ‘Love Me Not’.

The grime innovator‘s new album ‘Ignorance Is Bliss’ is out now, a record packed with surprises. None more so than the sudden appearance of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, with Skepta sampling her pop hit ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ for ‘Love Me Not’. The video takes Skepta back to the blocks, and the pirate radio environment in which he started his career. He catches vibes in a house party, while also showing a woman going through some relationship trouble with Skepta.

Names such as Octavian, Lancey Foux, Jammer, Chip, slowthai, Frisco, and Heartless Crew’s Bushkin and Mighty Moe all make cameo appearances giving the music video old-school garage vibes from start to finish. Watch it below.
