SebastiAn releases ‘Beograd’ music video ahead of upcoming ‘Thirst’ LP

SebastiAn, French producer built up momentum dropping a pair of singles early this year ahead his sophomore LP ‘Thirst’.

‘Thirst’ a cinematic treat produced in collaboration with film maker Gaspar Noé (Enter the Void, Climax) and Saint Laurent. Thirst comes through with SebastiAn’s play on contrast using atmospheric synth textures against aggressive bass lines. All executed without the use of drums.

Run For Me Feat Gallant

‘Run for Me (feat. Gallant)’ a delicate serenade, features guest vocals from R&B crooner Gallant. “We made it in one day, in one take without stopping,” SebastiAn explained in a statement. “The melody evolved wherever it seemed to want to go all by itself. I tracked Gallant down for the vocals because he shared the same power and logic that the song aimed to have and I wasn’t disappointed. The song really came into its own when the vocals were laid down on the track.”

‘Beograd’ the latest drop from SebastiAn’s album is a tribute to his heritage city of Belgrade. SebastiAn described the track as being inspired by the “Slavic intensity” of its namesake town. He worked with longtime collaborator SO ME on the music video. “‘Beograd’ is a killer track, raw and uncompromising, and the video an ode to the city. A dreamlike encounter with its most colorful characters, shot on 35mm. A secret society of dancers, each with their own style and background, who meet in secret in what seems to be confrontational duels with no designated winner. Until exhaustion.” explains SO ME, the former full-time Ed Banger Records art director.

‘Thirst’ will arrive on October 25th through Ed Banger Records.
