03 Sep Sade’s discography to be reissued as a vinyl boxset
A long-awaited release for many: a boxset of Sade’s discography is coming.
Sade have announced This Far, a vinyl box set featuring all their studio albums newly remastered.
The collection will feature 1984’s Diamond Life, 1985’s Promise, 1988’s Stronger Than Pride, 1992’s Love Deluxe, 2000’s Lovers Rock, and 2010’s Soldier of Love. The boxset will be officially released on October 9.
The collection went through a half-speed remastering process at Abbey Road Studios. Each record will be pressed on 180-gram vinyl, packaged in a casebound box.
The press release announcing this collection drops a hint for future works, stating that the title “suggests that the band’s studio work may not yet be fully complete.” In 2018, band member Stuart Matthewman told Rated R&B that a new album is in the works.
