A collection of lost recordings from pre-revolution Iran has been collected by Morteza Hannaneh, co-founder of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, and released on vinyl for the first time.

The album, Tschashm-e-Del, is thought to have been recorded in pre-revolution Iran during the ’60s and was to be played on Radio Tehran. Essential for fans of archival library music, world sounds, Tschashm-e-Del is set to a Ghazal, written by famous Iranian poet Hatef Esfehani in the 18th century.
