Firstly, Live Nation Merchandise and The End of Music, LLC revealed a new clothing collection on Monday. Specifically, the debut of Kurt Was Here. Basically, it features hand-written journal entries, sketches, paintings, and drawings from the late Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain.

Each item in the collection was curated and designed under the creative direction of Cobain’s daughter. Frances Bean Cobain. Also, the collection includes a book. All of it is based entirely on Cobain’s original artwork. Additionally, more products and retail partners will be announced in the coming months. The collection will have a portion of its online sales donated to The Jed Foundation. A non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the emotional health of and preventing suicide among teens and young adults.

The people behind the collection explain. “all varying line weights were not adjusted so the customer can experience the fluidity and potent subject matter as it was intended.” Cobain’s image was used on merchandise for many years since his death. But now, Kurt Was Here will be the first official collection to use his paintings, drawings, and journal entries.
