Most importantly it will include more than 28 additional minutes of music from the film. Not to mention, the LP arrives in an interesting new lavish packaging. In detail, it is a lenticular sleeve which produces an optical illusion. Particularly around the flames of Michael Myers’s mask. As can be seen in the trailer below demonstrating the packaging of 2018’s Halloween soundtrack, expanded vinyl edition.
Making of the Halloween Soundtrack
So John Carpenter is the creator of the series. The music was created by Carpenter along with his son and godson. Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies. To explain the soundtrack Davies said: “We wanted to honor the original Halloween soundtrack in terms of the sounds we used. We used a lot of the Dave Smith OB-6, bowed guitar, Roland Juno, Moog, Roland System 1, Roland System 8, different guitar pedals, mellotron, and piano.”
