16 Dec Fabio and Grooverider release new a documentary on their party, RAGE
Drum’n’Bass figureheads Fabio and Grooverider have come together again. This time releasing a short documentary about their club night RAGE.
The 2 London DJ’s are part of the DNA of the global Jungle / D&B movement. They remained undeniably relevant and authoritative to this truly underground art-form since it’s inception. In essence, RAGE is the ground zero of Jungle. The party first started at London’s cavernous Heaven club in 1988, concurrently at the height of Acid House. RAGE certainly channelled some of that Acid energy. However it pitted itself against the new and exciting sounds coming out from Belgium, Amsterdam, Detroit, and Sheffield. RAGE created a new style. A new sonic attitude and energy. In any event, nothing like this had been heard before. This was a brand new style and it was coming out of London’s West End and Fabio & Grooverider were the people firmly behind it.
RAGE the club night that inspired a generation
Fabio & Grooverider have been at the forefront of UK dance music for over 3 decades. This is the roots of their story told through music. Find out about the impact of RAGE. Of course told by some of the biggest names who experienced a rave revelation at the club.
