23 Jan Bon Iver reveal Blood Bank EP reissue for 10th anniversary
Bon Iver has revealed their newest vinyl release: the 10th anniversary edition of Blood Bank.
Although released in 2009, the band will be celebrating 10 years of the critically-acclaimed EP in 2020. The four-track EP features fan-favourites like ‘Woods’, famously sampled by Kanye West in his 2010 album closer ‘Lost In The World’, and the title track, now a concert setlist staple.
Bon Iver’s Blood Bank was first released on January 20th, 2009.
While Blood Bank has been readily available on the format since its original release, this is the first time the EP will be pressed with bonus tracks — packaged with brand new artwork on red color vinyl.
Four live recordings will be included, comprising of renditions of the entire EP track list recorded at concerts in Stockholm, Dallas, London and Paris respectively.
There’s no indication of a wide release yet, but you can find it on Bon Iver’s official merch store.
Here’s the description of the vinyl packaging from the band’s merch team:
“LP: 33 1/3 RPM 12″ vinyl LP inside a matte finished gatefold jacket with spot gloss inks, wrapped in a clear plastic printed sleeve, and contains a full-color 4 page insert. Contains digital download code, redeemable on or after release day.”
Bon Iver released their latest full-length, i,i, in 2019.
