Alan Silvestri’s ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit?’ soundtrack gets vinyl reissue

Alan Silvestri’s ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit?’ soundtrack is being reissued for the first time on vinyl in over 30 years. It will be available this month (July), via Mondo. Composer Alan Silvestri is an established cinematic scorer with an impressive catalog that includes the ‘Back to the Future’ trilogy, much of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ‘Cast Away’, and ‘Forrest Gump’.

The 1988 Robert Zemekis directed film is based on Gary K. Wolf’s novel ‘Who Censored Roger Rabbit?’. To this day ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit?’ is still considered a landmark achievement in filmmaking, combining 2D animation and live-action.
